Getting the weapon ID's of equiped weapons (FPSE)

Hello there,

I've really been enjoying my recently purchased FPSE Kit. Im trying to get the ID's of the two equipped weapons trough another script. I've been trying to get the ID's from the WeaponsManager.cs script to my own player.cs script with no success.

EDIT: Okay so I now know how to get the ID, BUT why when I add public variables to the WeaponsManager.cs they don't show up in the inspector. What is stopping them from showing?

Can anyone help?
