i just saw a video of Sketchup being used to make models for Unity3d, previously I used Arma2 and on those forums Sketchup wasnt popular as it doesnt export well to other platforms, due to a lot of polygon errors and stuff.
i was wondering if anyone uses Sketchup with Unity3d for their models or anyother software, I am intending to start studying Blender properly soon, it will be my third attempt.

I'm not a modeler myself, so it'd be better to get this advice from someone who really knows what they are talking about. But from my experiences, sketchup never had any problems exporting to a format readable to unity, so that isn't a problem, but honestly, if you really want to get serious with 3d modeling, blender is the way to go.
